Introduction
I remember something Dr. Alvin Rogness said when he was president of Luther Theological Seminary.
He said, “Since God first spoke, we are all second hand dealers in used thoughts.”
So, the words put together in this slim volume surely fit that category. They are simply “stuff” written for church bulletins or newsletters by a country pastor.
The title came from a parishoner, the late Dorothy Baldwin, who once said of a sermon, “You had to listen quick.”
So, here are a few “listen quick” words turned loose.
